Biologist turned photographer... his work is especially notable, since his work has been a fundamental visual element, substantiating the physical and material changes that the planet has undergone during the last 30 years, mainly due to human action.

Author of numerous books and documentary films, Yann Arthus Bertrand, through his aerial photographs, wants to make us reflect on the consequences of this change, transforming the different ecosystems that have characterized us, with man opting in his “development” for increasingly rapid exploitation. and intensive use of natural resources. He seeks in his snapshots a reflective attitude about the different territories photographed, as well as awareness and respect for the common home in which we all live.

His photographs analyze the beauty of the earth, the territory, its resources and the impact of human beings on the planet, making us reflect on the new ecological awareness that we must have to preserve it.
